Ten Shot Challenge: Review of the Best Clip

The best ten shot clip that i seen was 'After Hours' by idriss, Shabana, Romina, and Aneesa. My opinion is their clip was astonishing because the short clip that they created reminded me of a teaser trailer of a very tense thriller movie. the best thing about this short clip is the serene and tense atmosphere it creates and that is what makes this clip the best.

Ten Shot Challenge: Editing Stage 2

The second editing stage and the last and final edition to the ten shot challenge. Our group did not complete editing our ten shot clip of the tour guide. Also the video was saved on only one computer thus slowing us down even further. Although, we did manage to put the digitized clips into sequence and add some transitions between the clips by this time it was already time to view the end products of our ten shots and our group lacked a sound track to go with the tour guide video. In the end we decided that there will be no sound.

If we managed to have complete the video we would managed to use a new program called Live-type this software allow you to add text to your video either on blank screen like we see many times used as credits or on top of the actual clip itself like a title for example.

Ten Shot Challenge: Editing Stage

Our group in media lesson was given a task to edit our clips of our ten shot that we created of the tour guide of Joseph Chamberlain College. To make this task easier our teacher split us up further into two groups so we each have a have our own outcomes of how the footage should be edited. Our two groups took turns on digitizing the footage that we needed (the ten shots) on to the apple Mac computers. I found this stage difficult to grasp in the beginning of the lesson but as the lesson progressed I got used to the programme and it became easier to digitize. In the end we managed to finish digitizing all of our ten shots.

Ten Shot Challenge

In my media lesson we were put in groups of four. Our instructions were to create a short clip only using ten different shots. Our group came up with the idea of making a short clip of a tour guide of the college. We spent half an hour roaming the college for ten good shots which helps out the new college students.
